The Borough of Millvale is Proud to be a Bird Town!

On July 3, 2024, Millvale Borough was designated as a Bird Town by the Pennsylvania Audubon Council. Bird Town, Pennsylvania, works in partnership with local municipalities and like-minded organizations to promote community-based conservation actions to create a healthier, more sustainable environment for birds, wildlife, and people. Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania is offering free enrollment in the Certified Backyard Habitat program for select communities, thanks to support from The Pittsburgh Foundation. Participants will receive a site visit from a habitat advisor, a custom report with resources, and a selection of native plants delivered to their home.
