The major components of the permit review procedure are
- Application and plan submittal
- Permits must be complete and provide all requested information; incomplete permits will not be
- Be reviewed
- Copy of workers' compensation certificate
- All contractors listed on permit applications must provide their PA registration number.
- Plan review
- Inspections
State law mandates a fine of up to $500 for any person who performs work without a permit if the construction is of a natural thatch that requires a permit. Additional penalties of project closure, daily fines, and correction and/or replacement of all work done without a permit will be enforced.
