MILLVALE BOROUGH MANAGER POSITION OPENING ANNOUNCEMENT AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Millvale Borough and the Tax Collector's office is pleased to announce that we have the forms available for the Senior Citizen Tax Relief Program now available.

More information can be found, including a downloadable application, on our Tax Collector's page on our website.

There are also hard paper copies that will be available at the Millvale Borough office, as well as the Tax Collector's office, for your convenience.

SENIOR CITIZEN TAX RELIEF PROGRAM APPLICATION INFORMATION

To qualify for this program, the applicant must meet ALL requirements listed below 

• 1. LONGTIME OWNER/OCCUPANT STATUS:  An Applicant must have owned and occupied a primary residence in the Borough of Millvale continuously for the past 10 years.  
• 2. AGE:   Must be age 60 or older, or if married, either spouse must be age 60 or older. Proof of Age: Photo copy of ONE of the following: PA Driver’s License, Birth Certificate, PA ID  Card or Passport,. 
• 3. INCOME:  Total annual gross household income MUST be $30,000 or less. For calculating income, use only 50% of your Social Security Benefit; plus, all other income must be added in at 100% for 2025.

Proof of Income: Photo copy of 2025 Federal Income Tax Return (1040, 1040A, 1040EZ).   If you do not file a Federal Income Tax Return, submit photo copies of Forms SSA 1099 (Social Security), 1099R (Pension), 1099G (Government Payments) and photo copies of all other income.   

Did you file a 2025 Federal Tax Return?  If a Federal Income Tax Return is not filed, a signed letter by applicant is required stating a  Federal Tax Return was not filed.  

AN APPLICATION CANNOT BE PROCESSED WITHOUT PROOF OF AGE AND INCOME.  

NOTICE OF HEARING in The Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania Civil Division in re Petition of Borough of Millvale to Fund Unfunded Debt in an Amount Not to Exceed $2,000,000.00. Notice is hereby given that the Borough of Millvale has filed a Petition with the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania at Docket No. GD-26-000007 seeking approval to fund its unfunded debt in an amount not to exceed $2,000,000.00. A hearing on said Petition will be held on January 15, 2026, at 9:45am, in Courtroom 703, before the Honorable Judge McVay or presiding Motions Court Judge, at the Allegheny County City-County Building, 414 Grant Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219. The purpose of this debt funding is for unpaid prior year’s lending obligations. Any taxpayer or resident of the Borough of Millvale may appear at the hearing to object to the proposed funding.
